Presentation: Ambient AI in the Physician’s Office: UPMC’s experience
Dr. Curren will review UPMC’s approach and results of their Ambient AI deployment across the Enterprise, from pilot to wide-spread use.
Bio
Michael Curren, MD, is a non-invasive cardiologist and is certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, as well as clinical informatics by the American Board of Preventive Medicine. He is the Section Chief of cardiology at St. Margaret Hospital and a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at UPMC, where he was both Chief Medical Resident and Chief Fellow.
Dr. Curren’s clinical interests include management of acute and chronic cardiac conditions in the hospital and office setting. He is also interested in the use of technology in care delivery. Dr. Curren lives in Gibsonia with his wife and three children.
