Presentation: Advanced RAG: Engineering AI Systems that Enhance Human Decision-Making
Learn how advanced AI knowledge systems using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) can enhance business decision-making. Through technical exploration of RAG architectures and real implementation examples, discover how to build AI systems that meaningfully support human expertise rather than attempting to replace it.
Bio
Justin is a Pittsburgh native, Kiski Area High School alum, and recognized by Crain’s Business as a “Notable Executive in Technology.” He studied physics at the University of Mount Union and Case Western Reserve University.
In his role, Justin has been the primary architect leading MorelandConnect as an AI native software development firm, transforming how software applications are built. He was also the driving force behind development of a prenatal critical care solution, awarded “HealthTech of the Year,” that leverages Obstetric Guidelines, which have shown to be instrumental in reducing severe safety incidents by 92%, for mother and baby, and cutting costs associated with obstetric litigation by 93%.
Justin was also a member of two national championship teams at the University of Mount Union. The former all-conference selection still holds the Purple Raiders’ career record with an average of 8.8 yards per rushing attempt.
